MANAGING PEOPLE FOR PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

Managing People for Performance is a skill-based series of five, three-hour training modules that will give leaders and managers effective research-based skills to manage their team to greatness.

For Whom?

Any organizational leader, manager, or lay leader who wants to develop their managerial effectiveness.

What You Will Learn:

  • To improve staff motivation and raise the level of their performance
  • To create an environment that fosters successful collaboration and teambuilding efforts
  • To delegate work effectively, enlisting the right person for the right job

How Is It Delivered?

Managing People for Performance will be conducted as half-day workshops over a five-day training series using case studies, role-plays, improvisational games, and theory based practicum.

MANAGING UP

Organizations work most effectively when there are positive relationships between staff at all levels. Managing Up is a critical, but often ignored, skill for everyone in the organization, from the program employee interacting with their supervisor, to the CEO interacting with Board members.

What Is It?

Managing Up is an interactive workshop that will give employees and mid-level management the skills to maximize their effectiveness in working with supervisors and others at higher levels in the organization.

For Whom?

Middle-level managers and experienced employees

What You Will Learn

  • To establish interpersonal trust and to value each other’s contributions
  • How to connect with different styles
  • To adjust your style to each person, culture, and situation
  • To practice effective listening skills
  • To determine your strengths and the areas in which you need to develop

Impact You Can Expect

  • Better verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • The ability to flex your own style to meet the other person half-way
  • A deeper trust between yourself and others
  • Elimination of limiting beliefs that inhibit your ability to manage up effectively
